Pulivendula
is a municipality located in Kadapa District. Vijayawada town is the capital of
Andhra Pradesh State. The population of the town is 65,706 in year 2011.
Population in the year 2021 is estimated to be 80,000. Govt of AP has proposed
to develop the municipality as model town by identifying the requirements under
four pillars, ie., Social Infrastructure, Economy and Employment, Ecology and
Environment and Basic Infrastructure. Accordingly, 23 number of projects (29
packages) have been identified with a total cost of 651.5 crores. The
identified packages include Road development projects, development of Jagananna
Housing Colony having 7322 no of plots (Roads, water supply and UGD), Lake
front development, River Front Development, Development of City Centrum,
Shopping complex, Vending zone, Development of Nagaravanam, Citizen Service
Centre, Skill Development Academy, School etc |
